Born near Philadelphia, Pa. Patricia has been a resident of the Tri-State area for many years. She earned a BFA in 1995 and a MA in 1997 from Marshall University.
Patricia has exhibited her paintings in the WV Juried Exhibition in Charleston, WV, Exhibition 280, Huntington Museum of Art, Huntington, WV, Parkersburg Art Center, Parkersburg, WV, Allied Artists of WV and Shawnee State University, Portsmouth, Ohio to name just a few. She has received many awards as well as commercial and private commissions.
Patricia was one of six artists by invitation to exhibit her paintings in the “Four Seasons of Art Exhibition” sponsored by the National Bank of Commerce, Charleston, WV. Two artists were selected from West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio. More recently she received First Place in Jackson, Ohio with one of the paintings from her Water Garden Series.
Patricia’s paintings have been in juried exhibitions throughout West Virginia, Kentucky and Ohio and exhibited in the Vorpal Gallery in San Francisco, California. Recently, her ‘Water Garden’ Paintings were on exhibit at the Taylor Book Store and Gallery in Charleston, WV.
Patricia’s work has received awards in watercolor, mixed media and oil. Her paintings are in private collections throughout the United States, and Europe.
Patricia owns and teaches oil painting at the Painted Palette Art Studio, 619 Ninth Street, Huntington, WV.
